We get it—life happens! Deposits and cancellation fees aren’t something we love to enforce, but they’re essential to keeping our team busy and our business running smoothly. We’ll always do our best to work with you on changes, but we need to ensure our stylists’ time is well spent and their schedules stay productive. Thanks so much for understanding!

CONFIRMING YOUR APPOINTMENT

We’ll send you a text one week before your appointment—just reply with Y (Yes), N (No), or Yes/No to confirm your spot. Simple, right?

To lock in your appointment, we may ask for a deposit. You can pay over the phone or in person. Remember, your appointment isn’t confirmed until the deposit is sorted, and we can’t hold times without it.

Deposits required:

  • Blow dry: $50
  • Haircut: $100
  • Colour or Keratin Smoothing only: $150
  • Haircut with a colour or Keratin Smoothing: $150

If you book online, the system will calculate a 60% deposit automatically. But heads-up: if you cancel last minute, don’t show up, or arrive more than 15 minutes late, that deposit is non-refundable.

CANCELLING YOUR APPOINTMENT

We get it—life happens. If you need to cancel, let us know at least 24 hours in advance so we can adjust our schedule. You can:

  • Call us and leave a message.
  • DM us on Instagram.

If it’s less than 24 hours’ notice, the following charges will apply to your next visit and will need to paid in advance:

  • Blow dry: $50
  • Haircut: $100
  • Colour or Keratin Smoothing only: $150
  • Haircut with a colour or Keratin Smoothing: $150

Quick note: Don’t reply to the confirmation text to cancel—it’s automated and doesn’t accept anything beyond a Yes or No!

APPOINTMENT TIME

We know your time is precious, and so is ours. Please arrive on time for your appointment. Running more than 15 minutes late? Here’s what might happen:

  • We’ll try to find you a different stylist or colourist, but it could mean waiting longer.
  • If we have to reschedule your appointment, it’ll count as a cancellation, and you will lose your deposit. You will also be required to pay the deposit for your new appointment in advance.

CHILDREN & PERSONAL BELONGINGS

Kids in the Salon:
We aim to keep the salon a calm space for everyone. If you bring your little one along, please keep these things in mind:

  • Our furniture is for professional use only.
  • If they’re using devices, please bring headphones.
  • If supervising them takes time away from your appointment, some services might need to be adjusted or passed to another stylist. If we have to adjust your services you will be charged 60% of the value of those services.

Your Belongings:
Keep an eye on your stuff! We’re not responsible for:

  • Phones resting on capes (we remove capes fast, and phones don’t always survive the ride!).
  • Jewellery, wallets, or electronics left unattended at the station.
  • Loose jewellery during hair washing or services.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Payment for all services can be made by cash, EFTPOS, Visa, MasterCard, After Pay & Zip Pay.

QUOTING

Quotes for all colour services will not be issued by email or via social media platforms. DMS is happy to provide a price guide after a detailed conversation over the phone and whilst we endeavour to provide accurate price guides over the phone, prices may vary following a face-to-face in-depth consultation in the salon. Please request a quote from your colourist during your consultation at the beginning of your appointment.
